Violations of rules and regulations may result in loss of pool privileges, as management deems appropriate. These rule and regulations may be revised and ICRC may establish additional rules at any time.
ICRC reserves the right to close the pool or not permit swimming for the following conditions:
- Sustained rainfall
- Cold temperatures (less than 70 degrees air temperature)
- Poor attendance
- Lightning/Thunder
GENERAL RULES
-
Clean up after yourself and keep our recreation area clean.
-
Be respectful of one another.
-
Don't climb on any of the fences or structures.
-
Do not play on the upper lot (bonfire area). The wood stored there is for ICRC bonfires.
POOL PROCEDURES
-
All members must show membership identification upon entering the pool and sign in.
-
Children who have successfully passed the swim test and completed 5th grade are able to be unaccompanied.
-
Swimmers must wear appropriate bathing attire. Those not wearing appropriate attire will be asked to leave. No cut-off jeans, mesh or basketball shorts, or sweatshirts may be worn in the pool.

All individuals on ICRC property must obey the pool staff in all matters regarding the use of pool and facilities.
-
No smoking is allowed within the fenced area of the pool.
-
ICRC management/staff shall not be responsible for any accident, injury, theft or loss/damage to personal property. All found items are placed in lost and found box for your retrieval.
-
The pool may be closed periodically for swim team meets, practices and time trials. Proper notice will be given.
SAFETY
-
Parents are responsible for their children (all ages).
-
All persons should use the pool facility at their own risk.
-
Talking with the lifeguards or otherwise distracting the lifeguards is not permitted unless there is an emergency.
-
There is to be no pushing, running, shoving or towel slapping in the pool complex.
-
No person shall engage in indecent or offensive conduct or use profane or vulgar language.
-
No food, drink or gum is allowed in the pool. Food and beverages may be consumed on the deck or grass areas.
-
All trash should be deposited in the appropriate receptacle (recycling/trash).
-
Pool toys, balls and inner tubes will be allowed in the pool and on the deck/grass areas at the discretion of the pool staff.
-
Activities that infringe on the enjoyment and safety of others are prohibited.
-
No diving is permitted from the pool’s edge. The pool staff has the authority to remove swimmers that dive off the side of the pool.
HEALTH
-
The pool staff has the right to refuse admission to anyone with skin abrasions, colds, coughs, inflamed eyes, athlete’s foot, any infectious disorders, or persons wearing bandages.

The pool staff may request any person take reasonable rest periods to avoid fatigue and/or over exposure
-
Persons not toilet trained are required to use waterproof swimwear when using the pool.
-
In case of an accident, report to the lifeguards immediately. There is first aid equipment on the premises and trained personnel to use it.
GROUNDS/PROPERTY
-
Bikes must be kept outside of the pool fence in the bike rack. If the bike rack is full, they may be placed next to the rack but must be clear or pool entrance gate at all times.
-
No pets are allowed in the pool complex.
-
Pool staff will check pool grounds and tennis courts regularly. Anyone not possessing current membership identification will be asked to leave.
-
The cost of any property damage shall be charged to the responsible member.
BABYSITTERS
-
Babysitters who have completed the 8th grade will be allowed to watch children of any age.
-
If babysitter, in the pool staff’s judgment, does not responsibly take care of the child(ren), the pool staff will instruct the sitter to leave the pool area with the children.
-
Babysitters must sign in at the desk with their names, the child(ren)’s names and an emergency phone number for the parents.
DIVING WELL
-
The diving well will only be open when there is adequate lifeguard coverage.
-
If there is not adequate lifeguard coverage present to ensure safe monitoring of the diving well in addition to the remaining pool areas, the diving well will be closed. This is for the safety of our members and guests.
-
The lifeguard staff may close the diving board periodically so that the diving well may be used for other purposes, such as deep water games, This is at the lifeguards’’ discretion.

Only one person at a time shall be allowed on the diving board.
-
No person may dive until the previous diver has reached the ladder or cleared the diving well.
-
Excessive bouncing (as determined by the guard on duty) on the board is prohibited
-
Swimmers shall enter the diving area only from the board when open
-
Clowning around and un-attached flotation devices (such as noodles, rings, etc) are not permitted in the diving area.
-
Games members and/or guests would like to play in the diving area must be approved by the lifeguards. Lifeguards may stop games at any time and at their sole discretion.
-
Divers shall go off the diving board in a standing position and use the board in a responsible manner.
KIDDIE POOL
-
Only children 5 and under may use the kiddie (wading) pool. Parents are responsible for their child(ren) and must remain attentive to their child(ren) in all areas of the pool complex, including the kiddie pool.
-
Members must ensure that there is an unobstructed view of the kiddie pool area by the lifeguard on duty.
-
If there is not adequate lifeguard coverage present to ensure the safety of both the large pool and the kiddie pool, the kiddie pool will be closed. This is for the safety of our members and guests.
